Jiangsu Nantong Youbang Transformer Co., Ltd
In September 2003, ZYA-100 two-stage vacuum oil filter was ordered, and the oil sample was sent to Nanjing Electric Power Test and Research Institute. The test results showed that water content was 2 ppm, breakdown voltage was 73KV, acetylene=0, hydrogen=0, and gas content was 0.005%.
This machine is used to treat a transformer for high voltage test. The oil contains 46 ppm acetylene, which is zero after treatment.

4、 Why can't many vacuum oil filters completely remove acetylene from transformer oil?
Reasons for acetylene in oil: First, the transformer oil itself contains acetylene; second, the oil is partially overheated and decomposed due to electric heating, forced filtering or friction of mechanical oil transmission system during oil filter treatment, resulting in hydrogen, acetylene, methane and other gases. The working principle of vacuum oil filter should be to separate water, gas and low distillate from oil by evaporation. Its separation capacity is related to working vacuum degree, oil temperature, oil film evaporation area and evaporation time. For each vacuum oil filter, its gas separation capacity is relatively fixed. However, due to the strong binding force of extremely small amount of water, gas and oil molecules, the separation capacity of general vacuum oil filters is limited. No matter how long the oil is filtered, when the limit equilibrium is reached, the oil still contains a small amount of gas and water, which is why many vacuum oil filters cannot completely remove acetylene.
It is normal that the transformer oil in operation contains acetylene, which is a parameter for analyzing the transformer fault state.
Acetylene in the new transformer oil is left over due to the imperfect performance of the vacuum oil filter; The excellent oil filter ensures zero acetylene.
5、 Mistakes of transformer manufacturers in purchasing oil filters
The power sector has increasingly high requirements for transformer oil. Some vacuum oil filters have low oil filtering efficiency, limited dehydration, degassing and impurity removal capacity, and their oil filtering indicators are not ideal, especially acetylene=0 However, some manufacturers did not emphasize the clause of acetylene=0 after oil filtering in the technical requirements or bidding documents when purchasing oil filters, nor did they insist on the technical requirement of unconditional return if this clause is not met. As a result, the oil filter purchased with hundreds of thousands or even millions of yuan cannot guarantee acetylene=0 If it fails to meet the technical requirements, it cannot be returned, so that some manufacturers have 5 or 6 oil filters, but none of them can fully meet the requirements, making acetylene zero.
In fact, it is very simple. When the manufacturer purchases the oil filter, as long as the performance index is adhered to and acetylene=0 is the necessary clause, it can change from passive to active to avoid the embarrassing situation of "failure to meet the technical requirements and no return".
